Captain Left Field
When graduating with my Executive MBA, our class gave trophy awards that expressed class member’s personalities. When my trophy was presented to me, it read, “Captain Left Field”. I was not insulted, but I embraced the fact that I question everything and observe to better understand before moving on. I was also in the proverbial “left field” with many of my ideas due to the creative side of my quirky personality. I am that person, (not caring about football… no offense to those who do) who will ask what teams are playing the week of the Super Bowl. But I will still watch because I am intrigued by the marketing of commercials.
As I was driving on the highway, I noticed some isolated clouds and thought to myself, “Looks like a T-Rex chasing its prey”. Later I found my son’s toy T-Rex and noticed it looked the same and snapped the photo above. This is why I remain, “Captain Left Field”!
If I cannot find a stock photo image, I will capture it with my camera or drone and use Adobe Creative Cloud Suite to create something amazing.
