While visiting St. George, Utah, I was introduced to a new company chain called Pinkbox Doughnuts. This became one of my favorite brands even though I rarely eat doughnuts. What makes this company different? They are not just a doughnut company. They want to be the BEST doughnut company and take pride in the details. This company took interest in every aspect of their brand, from pink painted outside curbs and post lights, to a menu A-frame sign with QR code technology, as well as implementing what Disney and other amusement theme parks offer… a photo op, in this case, through a huge, pink doughnut. Which is amazingly genius for their social media marketing.
Once inside, the brilliantly inviting colors, sprinkles on the wall, doughnut door handles, and custom stanchion post barriers which are filled with sprinkles, directs customers to a beautiful display of perfectly assorted doughnuts. To diversify their revenue stream, they offer store merchandise.
I consider this to be a company that has mastered and understands marketing. As such, I will use this company throughout my website as an example for various sections.
